Say Somethin'

I have been busy with school and keeping my grades up up up [as in... all A(s) and B(s), Thank you very much, brain].

Thanksgiving... the day of the Turkey. For once (has not really happened in a long time), not only does my dad NOT have to work (!), but I am going to be HERE instead of (at mom's) for Turkey day... YAY (not yah, yeah, or sounding like the "a" in BLACK pronunciation of the word).

He is not having to do "all of the hard work" this year, since my grandmother said she was "putting her foot down and wanted to do it this year for once"... (in the past - at least the past that includes my life from the age of about SIX until now, she has stated that she "did not feel up to doing all of that work" and had passed it off to either her sister, or my dad, or some other relative.

Holy cow what is going on in the world for all of this crap to happen out of the blue?

Anyway, I have to spend part of the mini-holiday studying, because upon returning to school, I have three tests. (W-T-H)..eck?

You people enjoy your Turkey day, I'll see ya around.

As it turned out - we got to grandmas and she was sick. Why she still let everyone show up - I will never know. BUT she said "I've been sick and barfing for two days" when we walked in the door.

Fabulous. So - it was not so fun to be there for anybody, and dad had to do all the cooking anyway.
